Squirrel Infestation Program
Dear Customer,
Thank you for allowing A. Bailey Industries Termite and Pest Control the opportunity to offer you a price quote to rectify the squirrel infestation at your property.
Through experience, we at A. Bailey Industries have determined that the trapping method is the most efficient and effective way of solving your squirrel problem. Our method is described below:
A professional, licensed trapper will first perform an inspection in the areas where the squirrels are assumed to be located. Once he has made a positive identification, he will proceed to place Have-A-Heart traps on the roof of the home. He will bait the traps and proceed to monitor them on a daily basis. Generally, a family of squirrels contains 2-8 members. Once these squirrels have been trapped and the residents are no longer hearing any activity, the trapper will perform a preliminary closeout. This involves placing a temporary covering over the squirrel's entrance(s). From the time that covering is placed, the trapper will return within 48 hours to see if the covering has been disturbed. If no disturbance is noted, the traps will be removed and the problem will be presumed solved. Most squirrel problems are solved within 14-18 days. The A. Bailey trapper will permanently repair small holes (no larger than a football) with heavy mesh or steel flashing; however, repairing any larger holes made by the squirrels MUST be discussed before the trapping method begins.
The guarantee for squirrel work is for one year starting from the date of the setting of the traps. Once the guarantee has expired, A. Bailey Industries will not be responsible to continue trapping squirrels.
Additionally, 90% of all squirrels carry fleas. A. Bailey Industries will also treat the soffit or attic area for fleas to insure that these fleas do not multiply and cause a homeowner additional problems once the host animal has been removed. This flea treatment is included in the total price.
